Not too high, not too low

Lifeslide is a game that takes you on a journey through life itself through the flight of a paper airplane. Yes, that's right. Who knew that a paper airplane could explain our very existence? Well, that's the case, as each level is used as a metaphor for life.

Your goal is to fly through different locations and survive for as long as you can. There are no enemies or anything, but maintaining control of your papery aircraft can be tricky sometimes. A timer will keep you on your toes, and you do have a health bar too.

This is for you if you find yourself bumping into the ground or objects. Control is almost everything in this game. It can certainly be relaxing, but it does test you. It's up to you to steer your way to the best possible performance.

Grab many time extenders

As you glide, you'll notice floating items throughout the land. One of these will help extend your time. It's in your best interest to snatch up as many of these beauties as you can. The more you extend your time, the better chance you'll be able to score upgrade points.

Your plane has attributes such as speed, steering, and lift. Pay attention for what's up ahead and you'll be accumulating upgrade points in no time. But, it starts with keeping the time going.

Plus, if you can do that, you'll have time to fly more and explore more of the level. You certainly don't want your flight to come to an awkwardly abrupt end. Time is part of the juice of the game, so go on and grab those little clocks.

Choose a setting that you can get comfortable with

There are two control settings that you can decide between when playing the game. You can either slide your finger on the screen to steer, or you can tilt your phone to control your aircraft. Try testing both out and see which one you may be more comfortable with.

It's great that they give you the options. Touch control is the default setting, so you may already get some familiarity with it. Not to mention that most mobile games have touch screen controls so it's immensely familiar. However, the tilt option is there and ready for you.

Think of it as if you're using the steering wheel of that old racing game you used to love playing at the arcades and bowling alleys. It's a fun control to experiment with, but it's totally up to you which one you want to master. Heck, go back and forth with the two if you wish.

Practice flying low and steering

The biggest challenge in Lifeslide is that it's recommended that you try to stay relatively low when gliding. One of the big reasons is because most the items you want to grab are fairly low. So this practically forces to dip down. Sure, you can fly over, but then you could miss out on the time extenders and health replenishers.

Not only is it a good idea to be at a certain altitude, but you'll need to steer towards your items too. It can be tricky staying low enough while also trying to make quick turns. Steering is the easy part compared to flying low though.

How many times have you played a game that has planes in it where you decided to fly low, only to fall in the ocean or something like that? I immediately think of GTA V as a great example (darn you, Western Mallard). So, in short, get familiarized with dropping, and don't be afraid to fly higher for a short period if needed.

Enjoy the scenery

This tip is a lot more easy-going. While you're challenging yourself, try to take in the views of each level. They're all beautiful in their own way and is easily the signature aspect of Lifeslide. The music is pretty relaxing and the colors of the levels are nice.

Don't stress if you have some bumps throughout your time playing. Don't give up and try to enjoy the breathtaking setting of this unique game. And of course, have fun.
