Gameloft announces Let's Golf game for iPhone
Coming at the end of February
Hot on the heels of revealing its upcoming iPhone shooter Wild West Guns, Gameloft has used its Twitter feed to reveal another new iPhone title.
"LET's GOLF, a casual, arcade golf game, will be released on the AppStore end of February," reads the tweet.
Of course, the downside of using Twitter for this kind of announcement is there isn't room for any more details, though Gameloft did send us some screenshots over to add a bit of eye candy.
So let's speculate on the gameplay: the casual part leads us to think the game is more likely to be an Everybody's Golf kinda game than a super-serious Tiger Woods-style simulation.
We wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of accelerometer-powered swing interface, even if it's complemented by more usable touchscreen controls.
Multiplayer? Gameloft has put Wi-Fi local multiplayer into a few titles, and over-the-network multiplayer into UNO and TV Show King Online, so you never know...
Judging by the way the publisher is using Twitter, it'll post links to shots and videos in the next week or so. Rest assured, we'll keep you posted.
