Get rich and then blow it all
Cash is important in every facet of life. Unfortunately. And in video games, that's no different. In Knights of the Card Table, you'll need gold for a lot of things.
Just progressing through the game will require a lot of cash. So that raises a couple of questions. What will we be spending gold on, and where will we be earning it?
Two important questions and I have a set of important answers for you, especially if you're running low on cash to get further in the game.
Strap in and get your cards ready, because with these tips for Knights of the Card Table you will have everything you need to get ready for battle and progress through the entire game. Get your deck ready, it's time to duel. Or, erm, something like that.
Unlocking levels
The first thing you'll need gold for — and perhaps the most important thing — is unlocking levels. And this will quickly get expensive.Each stage is unlocked in exchange for a coin investment. That's fine, and explains why earning coins in battle is pretty generous.
It becomes an issue though when you start progressing further and further into the game. There's loads of levels. Like, seriously, dozens upon dozens of levels. And each level will be more expensive to unlock than the one before.
Save all the gold you can on unlocking levels because it'll undoubtedly become your biggest investment to save for before long. Of course, you can spend your gold elsewhere, but do so sparingly.
Replaying older level might end up becoming necessary for you, in which case the longer Challenge stages are a great place to earn more gold if you need to replay.
Of course, Challenge stages are quite a bit tougher than the main stages, so go in prepared to do battle.

Getting more gear
The other thing you'll be spending money on is gear. In the shop, you'll find shields and weapons to buy to power up your characters, and yeah, they're pretty important.
You'll want to get the strongest shields and weapons available to you, but to reiterate a point. You'll need to spend gold on levels too, so you should be aware of how much you're spending and change your priorities accordingly.
Don't blow your cash on a big weapon, only to realise you'll need to grind it against older stages first.

Triple heal
One of the few ways you can maximise your gold earned from stages is to get card combos, and the triple heal is one of the most useful.
If you take three heals in a row, you'll get bonus gold. You'll even get gold just for taking heals while at full health.
While you shouldn't aim to use heals when you've got full health, leaving heals over to last and then using them all is a pretty good idea.

A choice to survive
In longer stages you'll be able to choose from a bonus in between rounds. Critical buffs, heals, and dodge buffs are all optional and incredibly useful in the given levels, but there will also be coin rewards to choose from.
Yep, that's a tough choice. But if you jump into a Challenge stage you'll find plenty of these coin rewards available. If you have full health, it's a decent option, but if the stage is tough, you might need those other buffs.
Choose wisely before progressing through the stage.
