iOS puzzler Katamari Amore to be updated with 7 new stages this Thursday

Namco Bandai’s Katamari Amore is getting an all-new pack of levels in an update that will hit Apple’s App Store this Thursday (tomorrow) for both the iPhone and iPad.

Via the new Time Trip pack, you'll be introduced to six additional stages and a special Tekken-themed stage, all of which will be playable in the game’s four modes: Story, Time Trial, Exact Size Challenge, and Eternal.

As with Katamari Amore’s original pack of levels, you’ll be able to tackle the first stage in Time Trial mode without having to spend a penny. To unlock the full game, you'll have to pay the “discounted launch price” of £2.49 / $3.99.

If you’ve never heard, seen, or played a Katamari title, your main aim is to roll a strange ball (called a Katamari) around different environments and locations in order to suck up items and increase its size.
