Gamebook Adventure title Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106 now available on iOS

Tin Man Games has announced that its latest Gamebook Adventure, Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106, is now available as a universal iOS app.

Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106 includes all of the standard features that one would expect from Tin Man’s Gamebook Adventures series such as save points (bookmarking) and an inventory system to help keep track of skill stats and information.

Unlike many iOS roleplaying games that guide players through a linear plot, Gamebook players have the ability to choose the direction of the narrative based on the decisions they make on each page.

All of this said, calling Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106 a simple interactive book would be accurate but a bit unfair as it incorporates many elements of a traditional roleplaying games as well.

Rather than turn to a given page to learn the outcome of a fight, Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106 uses a realistic dice-based battle system sure to appeal to fans of tabletop RPGs and annoying dice-rolling noises.

While no stranger to Gamebook Adventures, Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106 marks Tin Man Games’ first foray in to the world of licensed Gamebooks and is 'the first ever' interactive digital Judge Dredd Gamebook.
