Z Studio has announced the official launch of Journey to the West on mobile, letting iOS players get their hands on the roguelike deckbuilder based on the popular novel of the same name. Players can try their hand at battling against more than 120 mythical creatures in thrilling turn-based combat, as they pick from 5 legendary characters across a 75-card pool.

In Journey to the West, players can look forward to building the ultimate deck and finding the best hero that suits their playstyles best. There's a wide variety of skills to wield and over 20 companions to meet, as well as an immersive narrative to discover.

The iOS version of the game is free for anyone to try, with one character available to use without shelling out any fees. It's currently on Early Access on Steam at the moment, with a "Very Positive" standing as of its community rating. It also has a finalist nomination to the 2021 Tencent GWB Game Awards under its belt.
