Since Sega struck up a game-developing deal with comic book maestro Marvel last year covering a number of the latter's biggest franchises, the publisher has announced it'll be releasing a game based on the upcoming Hulk film this June.

But it also has another Marvel game in the works based on the slightly lesser known Iron Man – a hero also set to get the big screen treatment this summer.

Releasing a few details this week, Sega says the game will feature the voice talents of the film's biggest stars: Robert Downey Jr, Terence Howard and Shaun Toub (presumably for the handheld versions as well as the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii and PC games also being released) and draws its story from both the film and original Iron Man comics.

The game is a third-person action shooter, one which unsurprisingly features you moving around in Iron Man's armour suit. Expect a variety of high-impact weapons and the ability to customise elements before each fight or venture into a battlefield.

For those who don't know the plot of Iron Man, its hero is a billionaire industrialist and inventor called Tony Stark, who's captured in the Middle East and forced to construct the ultimate war weapon. But instead he builds himself a big suit of armour, escapes and becomes Iron Man. And his captures are left wishing they'd kept a closer eye on what he was up to.

Like the sound of stomping about in a big old suit of gun-laden armour? You won't have long to wait: Iron Man the game will be released alongside the film on May 2nd on both DS and PSP.
