A retro-style RPG adventure called Into the Dim is out now on iPhone and iPad, courtesy of developer Happymagenta.
You play as a spiky haired boy, who follows his dog through a black-and-white world of traps and monsters. It works like a roguelike, meaning you and enemies shift between grid squares in turn.
You'll have to think several steps ahead to evade traps and solve puzzles. And you'll have to manage stats and ammo to stay alive. It's a thinker.
It looks lovely. And what's more, it's free to download. You can grab it from the App Store here. An Android version is "possible" in the future.
