Interstellar is Paramount's way of explaining how space time-travel works in Christopher Nolan's upcoming space epic movie of the same name.

The game lets you create solar systems, changing how stars, planets, moons, and asteroids are aligned and appear.

In fact, the game's entire universe is made up of player-created solar systems that you can explore.

You do this by piloting the Endurance - the spaceship in the film - which involves using gravity slingshot around the universe.

This is necessary to reserve your fuel, as if you run out, well, let's just say that space is a pretty big place to get stranded in.

If you get it right, though, you can travel through time and space, through wormholes, and earn mission patches for completing objectives.

You can download Interstellar for Android on Google Play [download] for free right now. The iOS version will be out some time next week.

Alternatively, if you're on PC, you can play it in your browser here. The Interstellar movie is out in cinemas on November 7th.
