Ingress Prime is an AR game, following up on the 2012 release of the first in its series. From the looks of it, you can't find the original Ingress on either iOS or Android, but it's no biggie. Niantic took the core values of the original and built on them, making an even greater experience with a better story than ever before.

In it, you play the role of 'Agent' as you explore a vast Sci-Fi landscape in real life. You need to discover Portals disguised as public art landmarks, though you'll play through an interactive story first to get a grip on the mechanics, and find the Exotic Matter leaking from them. You'll also need to decide which Faction you want to fight for, The Enlightened or the Resistance. Both want to control the Exotic Matter and Portals, but you can only help one side.

Like the original, the story changes depending on how you and other Agents perform and interact, especially when faced with Ingress real world Anomaly events. You can find a full list of upcoming events right here.

If you fancy it, grab the game free to play on the App Store or Google Play now.
