Gamevil platform-RPG Illusia headed for iPhone this week, Android version in the works
Be a magician or a fighter
Zenonia publisher Gamevil is set to release its new Casual Platform Action RPG Illusia onto iPhone this Thursday, 9 December.
Illusia eschews the top-down adventuring of the Zenonia series in favour side-scrolling platforming. Of course, it will retain Gamevil’s love of all things statistical – even its sports games are bursting at the seams with RPG elements, after all.
There are two main classes to pick from – Magicians and Fighters – both of which are divided into seven distinctive sub-classes. So that’s 14 classes in all, each of which has its own passive and active skills. Naturally there’ll be plenty of customisation when it comes to weapons and armour, too.
Sweet graphicsAnother familiar Gamevil touch is the game’s lovely anime-inflected visual style. Illusia’s world really does look good enough to eat.

As well as confirming the release date of the iPhone version, Gamevil has also used its Twitter page to inform us that an Android version is in the works.
The post reads: "We're working on ILLUSIA for Android as well, date will be determined soon.”
