  • I, Slime is out now on iOS and Android
  • Be a slime, and build your own town while exploring dungeons
  • Enjoy idle multiplayer fun to boot

It's not altogether rare for something to grab you by the name alone, but I'd be surprised if I, Slime, didn't at least somewhat intrigue you with its title. But a name is only half the story, and if you're looking to find out the rest, you're going to have to dive into this colourful action RPG for yourself, as it's out now on iOS and Android!

Intended to release way back in April, I, Slime presents a rather compelling setup. You play as the titular Slime in this idle multiplayer action RPG that sees you exploring a world of sky islands and vicious beasties.

I, Slime offers three main paths, six branches and 28 classes for you to try out that you can switch up and change whenever you want. Not to mention the fact that you can also build up your own town and try on different outfits, customising your chosen slime as you see fit.

I, Slime may not be winning any rewards for an ingenious twist on the formula of action RPGs, but it does offer what looks to be a very complete package. I'm particularly intrigued by the idea that this is mixing up the usual formula of slimes as enemies and instead having them be your primary player character.

With its mix of active action roleplaying, multiplayer and other features such as town building, I can't see any reason why I, Slime might not be popular with players for a long while yet.

But if I, Slime, still isn't quite for you, why not try out some of the examples on our list of the top 25 best RPGs on iOS and Android for some of our other top picks from the genre? With everything from flightful fantasy to grimdark sci-fi!
