Hitman Sniper: The Shadows - Campaign tips, cheats, hints
Square Enix Montreal released Hitman Sniper: The Shadows earlier this week. Like in the previous Hitman titles, you get to play as a Sniper taking out criminals and fulfilling contracts. However, this time, you can choose between six agents, each having different special abilities.
There are two game modes available - PvP and Campaign. The fastest way to upgrade weapons and become the best sniper is to play a mix of both of these modes. But for this post, we will be focusing on the Campaign. We will share how you can ace the Campaign mode with these tips.
About the Campaign Mode
The campaign mode features Hitman Sniper's intriguing story where you have to complete a series of contracts, each with a target, score bonus and score thresholds to earn valuable rewards that can be used to upgrade your agent roster. TIP #1 - Know your Agent's special ability
As we mentioned earlier, each Agent has a special ability. So, it's essential to learn about the Agent's ability when you head to fulfill your contracts. For example, Knight's special ability allows her to take down multiple targets in a small area with a single shot. If you are aware of your Agent's special ability, you can achieve your objectives easily and mess around with missions and find various ways to complete contracts.
TIP #2 - Complete Bonus objectives
Completing contracts is not tough, at least in the starting chapters. As such, rather than focusing on primary objectives, you should try to complete bonus objectives. Primary objectives are mostly taking down guards and achieving a certain number of points, while bonus objectives are basically eliminating targets in creative ways, such as using a water well, chandelier, or fire extinguisher.Completing bonus objectives will not only help complete your primary objectives but will also reward you with Star Tokens, which will earn you earn crates, helping you get equipment to upgrade your weapon.
TIP #3 - Use the insight button to find creative ways to kill
To find creative ways to kill, you can use the insight button located right next to the scope-in button. Creative ways to eliminate will earn you bonus points, helping you achieve the score targets.TIP #4 - Aim for the Head
Headshots not only eliminate the target in one shot but also earns you extra points. Remember, if the bullet hits the target on legs or the arms then they won't die, and will start running, making it harder to eliminate them.TIP #6 - You have unlimited time
You can take as much time as you want to complete the contract in campaign mode. So make sure every shot counts. Find the right opportunity to eliminate the targets without alarming nearby people. After all, you are a sniper.
TIP #7 - Aim with the left hand
If you are coming from a hardcore shooter such as PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile, you will have developed a habit of aiming with your right hand. But remember, this won't work for you in Hitman Sniper: The Shadows. Use your left hand for aiming and right for firing.
