Hill Climb Racing 3 has a new gameplay beta teaser video
  • Fingersoft have unleashed brand new beta gameplay of Hill Climb Racing 3
  • Check out the vibrant 3D graphics and fast-paced gameplay
  • Get a glimpse of upgrades, progression and vehicles

If there's a franchise that warrants fond memories for many of us, it's Hill Climb Racing. Whether you grew up with it as a childhood favourite or used it to while away the hours on a long train journey, the simple fun of physics-driven racing is evergreen. Now, developer Fingersoft have offered the gaming public a sneak peek at Hill Climb Racing 3's gameplay.

Hill Climb Racing 3 is the first entry in the series to ditch the 2D format in favour of fully 3D graphics. And it seems to work very well here, with the retention of the 2D plane of movement. There's also a greater variety of vehicles on show, all with different abilities.

What probably grabs you instantly are also the various environments on show, which display just how many obstacles and potential boons you can enjoy from the world itself. And if you're a fan of long-term upgrades and unlocks, there are plenty of them to grab, as shown in our glimpse of the progression path.

With its new graphics and visual flair, variety of vehicles and gameplay, all while retaining the style of the Hill Climb Racing franchise, it looks as if HCR3 will be a fantastic addition to the series as a whole.

If you fancy getting your hands on Hill Climb Racing 3 early, it's worth keeping an eye out for opportunities to join the closed beta. As for a release date, there's been no concrete news yet, but I'd bet on us getting the news very soon, judging by how complete it looks already.
