Heroes of Loot brings its terrific mix of dungeon crawling and shooter to PS Vita tomorrow
Looted itself a Gold Award, y'know?
Surely, the best loot you can find is a Gold Award from us, right?
Well, that's what Heroes of Loot got in our review of the iOS and Android version. Hopefully, then, the PS Vita version coming out tomorrow will live up to that.
Yep, Heroes of Loot has been ported to Sony's handheld by Abstraction Games. It's in good hands. That's the folks who brought Hotline Miami and Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition to PS Vita, you see.
The PS Vita version of Heroes of Loot has new controls (of course), leaderboards, and Trophies for you to earn. It'll cost €2.98 / $2.99 but will be even less for PS Plus members.
If you don't know, Heroes of Loot is a fairly typical dungeon crawler, except it trades hacking and slashing for shooting. It's a twin-stick shooter with lots of monsters and treasure, essentially.
Yep, even the warrior throws their sword instead of swinging it. The archer and wizard fire arrows and magic respectively. While the valkyrie chucks daggers.
It has roguelike elements too, so expect randomly generated dungeons and permadeath.
Our reviewer said that it's a "great way to spend a few hours. If you like games that ooze fun from every pore, you should definitely pick up Heroes of Loot."
