Mobile puts its fighting sandals on for Hero of Sparta
iPhone hack'n'slash gets a pocket conversion
We've been cogitating recently about the fact that games are now hitting the iPhone first, then getting their mobile and other platform conversions afterwards - presumably to (quite rightly) maximise on an IP's potential.
Well, it seems Gameloft has a similar line of thought, and has just released its hot new iPhone hack'n'slash, Hero of Sparta, onto the mobile platform. Naturally it doesn't feature quite the same flashy 3D visuals, but as a 2D scrolling fighting game (this writer's favourite genre, not that it matters) it look pretty splendid.
Thirteen levels, upgradable magic and different perspectives depending on whether you're platforming of brawling sound like some pretty excellent features, so hit the 'Track It!' button now to make sure you don't miss our imminent mobile review of Hero of Sparta.
