I'm a fool. I thought I was better than Hazumino. I was wrong.

The challenge here, you see, is to spin tetrominoes and line them up correctly to create a bridge. A quirky character of your choice then runs across this bridge. Any holes you create need to be jumped over. So, your attention is divided between the blocks and the character.

"An easy task," I said to myself.

It even starts off slowly... thus lulling me into a false sense of security. It's just to ensure you have sufficient time to get to grips with the basis of the game, in truth.

Half a minute later, however, and my character's lazy jog has turned into a speedy trot. Suddenly, I'm panicking. Before I know it, I've missed a jump, my character's fallen to its death, and it's Game Over.

Hazumino really IS trickier than it looks, then. On top of trying to get your character to run as far as you can across your makeshift bridge, you have to collect items. With these, you can unlock extra characters.

The problem is that these items are placed at various heights. This means you have to adjust the height of the bridge so your character can collect them. Again, it's harder than it sounds.

If you're up for a challenge and enjoy retro-style visuals, go pick up Hazumino right now. It's currently available at 50 percent off for just 69p / 99c.

You can purchase Hazumino from the App Store [buy] and Google Play [buy] right this second.
