Farming sequel Harvest Moon: A New Beginning for 3DS heading to North America

3DS farming sim sequel Harvest Moon: A New Beginning is officially making its way over to North America.

Though the Japanese version, entitled Bokujou Monogatari: Haijmari no Daichi, has been available in Japan since February, the game's developer Natsume has waited until just before E3 to sow some seeds of anticipation for the Western port.

"We're very excited to be announcing Harvest Moon: A New Beginning for the Nintendo 3DS! HM: ANB will be making its debut during E3, June 5th to 7th, where first screens and game play details will be revealed," Natsume revealed on its Facebook page.

We were rather fond of last year's Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar on the DS, where we discovered a surprisingly addictive fusion of RTS and RPG mechanics beneath the game's sugary presentation.

We look forward to seeing what new details spring up from the fertile E3 soil.
