Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery now lets players date characters exclusively and more in Valentine's Day update

Jam City has announced an exciting new Valentine's Day event this season in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Featuring all things lovey-dovey, the adventure game on mobile lets players boost the magic that is love at Hogwarts with an exciting update to the fan-favorite Dating feature.

In particular, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery lets players date characters that they have reached friendship level 3 with in the game. In the latest update, players will be able to exclusively date these characters in order to trigger special rewards, extra activities and more. With exclusive relationships, players will now have limited dating options that will strengthen their bond. Of course, they can always break up and move on, but that's another story, isn't it?

To coincide with this, a limited-time side quest will let players assist Gilderoy Lockhart on February 9th in writing a book on love. Lending him a helping hand might just get you an invite to an exclusive Valentine’s party, plus a lovely date on the Hogwarts Express.

Meanwhile, there will also be a five-day campaign from February 14th to the 18th, where players can go on a hunt across the vast Hogwarts grounds to find Howlers from Secret Admirers.

If you're keen on joining in on all the festivities this month, you can download Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery on the iOS App Store or on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can join the community of followers over on the official Instagram page to stay updated on all the latest developments as well.
