Developer Funplus has announced the new expansion coming to their popular mobile strategy game Guns of Glory. Titled Lost Island, this new batch of content brings with it a ton of additions including a new story arc to experience alongside new variations on the gameplay and events too!

Guns of Glory is, at its core, a relatively traditional mobile strategy game. If you’ve played the likes of Clash of Clans or other genre adjacents, you’ll be familiar with the core loop here. You build up an empire building by building, further enhancing the resources you get, as you also deal with combat encounters based mostly on numbers and strategic team building. Throw in some light PvP elements and social functionality like Clans and the like, and you’ve got Guns of Glory.

And now, with the Lost Island expansion update, you’ll have even more daily activities to get done each time you log in. The two new big ones are the Relic War event and the Treant Invasion event.

The Relic War is separated into four different sections: Registration, Preparation, Battle, and Ownership. Registration and Preparation are exactly what they sound like; you’ll mark yourself down as interested for this phase of the event, prepare accordingly, and then proceed into Battle, where you have to attack Relic Ruins and destroy the enemies inside. The Ownership phase then sees whoever has the highest amount of Alliance Points take control of the Relic Ruin until the event comes back for the next part.

Treant Invasion is far more simple. All it requires is for you to attack different threats around the map, which then give you Treant Scrolls, which are then used for summoning Treants. You will then earn Alliance Points at the end of the event based on the number of Treants you summoned and then slayed.

These two events are definitely the highlight of the Lost Island update, but there’s plenty more, so I’d recommend checking out the official Facebook post for more information. In the meantime, you can download Guns of Glory for free at either of the links below to give this new content a spin!
