Remember Guitar Hero Live? It came out on the App Store a wee while back, with most of the console game's features and all of the console game's price tag.

Well, a new update just hit the App Store that makes the iOS version function even more like the console edition.

A new GHTV progression system allows you to rank up, you can now play real-time multiplayer with other players, you can access the song catalogue using Plays, and access individual song goals.

But even better than all that is the new price tag. Shedding $40 off its in-app purchase, Guitar Hero Live's full unlock is now just £7.99 / $9.99.

The promotion ends on January 7th. If you're interested, you can go get the game off the App Store now. Consider getting a Bluetooth guitar controller, too, for the proper rockstar experience
