There's nothing wrong with twin stick action games on iPhone, except that it doesn't have twin sticks. It has a touchscreen.
So as long as developers realise the difference and tweak their game logic, enemies, and environments to work with virtual twin sticks, everything's fine.
Control is a much more important part of the game experience than loads of action or outrageous settings and loads of guns.
Where does that leave us with Angry Mob Games's Guerrilla Bob?
Full of outrageous enemies and loads of guns, the virtual twin stick shooter is shaping up to be something interesting, although whether the 'Looks like Minigore on crack' descriptions will play out when it's released is another matter entirely.
