Netmarble has announced that GRAND CROSS W, the studio's upcoming 4X strategy sim on mobile, is holding its beta test from August 19th to the 28th. Players can pre-download the game beginning August 7th on Google Play, which means that if you're an Android user, you can join in right now.

In GRAND CROSS W, players can expect to engage in large-scale combat with 2D anime-style visuals. They'll team up with the game's main protagonist Layla and expand their territories, amass their armies, construct structures and train powerful troops. They can also summon hero Transcendents to aid them.

The game also features a variety of game modes such as Single Player stages, World (Field) and Capturing, Castle War, Server vs. Server War, Story Chapters and Territory Expansion and Territory Customization. Troops recruited will bring their own set of skills to the battlefield - for instance, ranged units and air troops let players take the fight across rivers and mountain ranges as well.
