Developer Npixel has confirmed that, at long last, their extremely popular exclusively Korean and Japanese MMORPG Gran Saga is finally receiving a global release. This is one of the biggest games in the East, and it has seen an abundance of success. A lot of mobile gamers have hoped for a global edition of Gran Saga, so it’s wonderful to finally see it come to light.

Gran Saga is a massively multiplayer RPG, featuring a beautiful art style adjacent to something like Granblue Fantasy, another super popular MMORPG. It also has a really engaging fantasy storyline that features some superbly written characters and arcs, alongside some great combat with flashy over-the-top anime-style battles left and right. Overall, it’s as popular as it is for a reason, and is absolutely worth a look if you’re a fan of the genre.

As for this global version, unfortunately, this is about all we have to work off of when it comes to a release date or anything like that. Details are as scarce as they come, and all we can do is speculate on when we might see it. Take this with a grain of salt, but following the typical amount of time it takes for a mobile game to receive a global version, it could easily be a year or two before we see it hit our storefronts.

As unfortunate as a wait that large might seem, it’s still really wonderful to see a game of this calibre finally making its way to the rest of the world. If you’ve been hankering for something that will let you really sink in the time and hours as you grind away for various different characters, weapons, and other goals, Gran Saga is worth a look.

For now, though, you can check out the official website for a deeper look at the game and stay tuned for more information!
