Riot Games has just dropped a massive announcement about the studio's upcoming auto-battler on mobile: Golden Spatula. Now open for pre-registration, the mobile-first title offers League of Legends (LoL) fans the chance to get first dibs across Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
In Golden Spatula, you'll build your roster of heroes from the LoL champion lineup and strategise the best placement to dominate your opponent. Star up your heroes and equip them with the right gear to give them a fighting chance - you can even gear them up with the titular spatula itself.
As you duke it out with seven other players in one-on-one combat, you'll eliminate each other until the one true champion comes out on top. You'll also need to star up to unlock more champion slots and unleash hero synergies that turn the tide of battle in your favour.
"Golden Spatula is designed with mobile players in mind, offering a fresh and accessible strategy experience that's easy to jump into but offers plenty of depth for those who love mastering auto-battlers," says Kate Han, Director of Game/Product Direction at Riot Games.
