God of War: Chains of Olympus UK release date revealed?
50 days to go, apparently
There isn't much we don't know about God of War: Chains of Olympus. We've written about the game's content, seen the endless batches of screenshots, played through some of its levels (our coverage of the game is neatly grouped here), watched the trailers (here), and are aware that it's coming March 4th.
That's in the US, though. In Europe, the closest to a precise date we've come is 'March 2008', according to the official bumph.
Well, tired of waiting, we've decided to do a little digging and have come up with a seemingly plausible date. How does March 28th sound?
Okay, it's a little later than the US release that we were hoping for, but it's the date online retailers have suddenly posted on their sites. And it's not unusual for them to get this type of information before it's communicated to the press/public.
So that's what we're sticking to. We hope Sony is doing the same, because despite the publisher's poor track record in getting US-developed PSP titles released in a timely fashion on this side of the Atlantic, any later would be inexcusable for what is one of the year's most anticipated releases.
