DS and Wii compatibility planned for Ghostbusters game
Connect them up for extra features
If you have a DS and a Wii, you'll be able to connect the two for an extra feature when Ghostbusters comes out. So says videogaming247, who spoke to John O'Keefe, studio director of Terminal Reality at a press event this week.
According to O'Keefe, you can link the two consoles and use the DS as your PKE meter – one of the Ghostbusters' bits of equipment that lets them track where ghosts are lurking.
Using your handheld to view some part of a game was pretty big news back in GBA days and worked especially well in games such as Gamecube's Zelda: Four Swords. Sony was going to do something similar in PS3 game F1 Championship Edition by letting players use the PSP as a wing mirror, but it was a feature dropped before the game's release.
Still while it might not a feature that's talked about as much these days, that's not to say a DS PKE meter won't work very well for Ghostbusters. We live in hope.
