A sine that more console games are to come?

Geometry Wars: Touch angled for iPad launch

Bizarre Creations's immensely popular neon-hued twin-stick shooter is coming to iPad under the name Geometry Wars: Touch.

The game has popped up on the App Store today, joining Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies to round out Activision's launch line up.

According to the game's listing, it's a full port of the Xbox Live Arcade original. Obviously, it's been reworked with the touchscreen in mind.

An iPad-exclusive Titan mode complements six returning modes: Deadline, King, Evolved, Pacifism, Waves, and Sequence. Sadly, we don't know exactly what is involved in the new Titan mode as we can't play the game yet.

You can be sure we'll be testing it thoroughly as soon as we receive our iPads.

Geometry Wars: Touch is available now for iPad at a price of $9.99.
