Friends & Dragons adds new characters and limited-time event in Lunar New Year update

In case you missed it, Playsome Ltd is still celebrating the fun and fortune of the Lunar New Year in Friends & Dragons, letting players join in on the festivities with limited-time events and a special event pass. In particular, the Lunar New Year newcomer event called "Chase the Nian" offers special rewards to help newbies get their feet wet, while the main event called the "Lunar Festival" provides a challenging dungeon that will put players' skills to the test in exchange for scrolls and Lunar New Year coins.

The LNY event in Friends & Dragons offers players the chance to score in-game goodies in the Season Pass as they collect more Lunar New Year coins. One of these early rewards includes the new character Ruby - a 3-star pirate that pays homage to the Year of the Rabbit. Other new additions to the game's growing roster of characters include 5-star Warrior Nimbus and 5-star Monk Caldera.

The former can use Taunt to protect squishier teammates, and its Cheat Death skill can help it survive an attack with 1 HP. The latter, on the other hand, can take care of itself as a monk with its Meditate skill and its Prepared skill, which provides an attack buff at the start of every stage.
