Friday Freebie: new Ace Attorney and Vector TD flash demos grace all three platforms...

Just when we thought we were going to have to stuff our DS into a rough canvass sack and drown it in a nearby river, along comes a flash demo to remind us there’s life in the old thing’s freebie potential yet.

It’s just as well we didn’t embark on such an unsavoury course of action, as the demo in question is of Ace Attorney Miles Edgeworth Investigations, who’d surely have brought us swiftly to justice. Except that he couldn’t because he’s fictional. It would have been the perfect crime.

Anyway, you can play a free flash demo of the game at this here address. More like this please, Nintendo.

Funnily enough, there’s a second flash demo to play this week, and it’s for a game that’s set to make a dual appearance on both the PSP and iPhone in the coming weeks. It’s called Vector TD, and though it may look like a very simple outing it’s actually quite an involved little tower defence romp, complete with a high score sharing system.

It’s free to have a go and playable in any flash enabled browser so do yourself a favour and nab this taster while it’s hot.

So, with all of our freebie business so swiftly transacted, all we have left to do is remind you quickly about both the free iPhone games Trawler Report and the free iPhone gaming audio podcast, both of which don’t cost a thing. Did we mention they’re free?

That’s it for now, click ‘Track It!’ to be notified via electronic mail as soon as next week’s load is hauled off the back of a digital truck and displayed here for your snaffling pleasure.
