Out at midnight: Create your own clubs and manage them to victory in Football Manager Handheld 2014

Unlike other football mobile games, Football Manager Handheld 2014 apparently has a slew of reworkings, updates, and tweaks over last year's Gold Award-winning Football Manager Handheld 2013.

When the game drops on to the App Store at midnight at £6.99 / $9.99, you should hopefully see a bunch of subtle changes.

These include improved graphics and a more intuitive menu system. Cloud Save functionality is a first for the series, so you can now continue your football managing career across multiple devices.

My Club Mode allows for creating an entire club from scratch, including kit colours, and your starting squad.

Bids for players from the AI are more realistic, you can track the progress of individual players in your squad, and it's more important than ever to answer questions from the media to keep them happy.

Most importantly, perhaps, is the improved post-match analysis, which should let you make more informed and better decisions for your team.

We'll have our review of Football Manager Handheld 2014 up soon. We'll let you know how these changes actually play out in the game.
