Meet Sleepy Pete - the third Aardman Flipnote Studio animation on DSi

There is no denying that most of us will have drawn a flick book in our school books at one time or another in a moment of sheer boredom and desperation to be outside.
Let's face it, watching a stick man hit the deck or some other slapstick situation helped speed up that seemingly interminable history lesson.
Capitalising on this is Aardman, the genius studio behind Wallace and Gromit, and you can certainly tell its staff spent a lot of time doodling as another short Flipnote Studio animation to the DSi shop involving a brand new star, Sleepy Pete, has been released.
For no cost at all, you can enjoy the new animation from Aardman's commercials director Tim Ruffle showcasing how, according to Nintendo, "simple and fun" Flipnote Studio is.
The animation is the third in the series and the remaining nine will be released weekly up until Christmas, each featuring a new unusual and fun characters.
All the Aardman animations done so far can be viewed for free at Hatena, and are well worth a view, if only for the comical value.
Flipnote Studio itself can also be downloaded for free from Nintendo's DSi store. You know, if you need help with your time passing needs.
