Here we go again

Square Enix's Final Fantasy Dimensions will cost at least £19.99/$28.99

If you're anything like me, reading that Final Fantasy Dimensions has been given a release date of August 31st will have put a rather large smile on your face.

Sit down, though, because you're not going to be happy about the following piece of news.

Square Enix has announced that the first of Final Fantasy Dimensions's four chapters will be available for £1.99 / $2.99, which is pretty reasonable.

Chapters two, three, and four, on the other hand, will cost £6.99. EACH. Yes, each. You can save a few pennies by downloading all four chapters in one fell swoop for £19.99 / $28.99, but, still, you can buy a human kidney for less than that. Probably.

This isn't the first time some of us here at Pocket Gamer Towers have been shocked by the price of a new Square Enix title. Around this time last year, the PG team debated whether or not Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions's £10.99 / $15.99 price tag is simply too high.
