Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered shuts its electronic doors for iOS

If you're a fan of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered on iOS, you may have noticed some recent issues regarding in-game purchases. Some of you have reportedly had issues accessing paid content, and if so we've got both good news and bad news.
The good news is the folks at Crystal Chronicles have noted your issues and prepared a fix, the bad news is that this fix takes the form of shutting down support for the iOS version of Crystal Chronicles Remastered. They've also released information on how you can claim refunds for content paid for after January 2024.
Originally released for the Nintendo GameCube with the innovative (but overly complex) integration of using GameBoy Advances as controllers for a multiplayer experience, Crystal Chronicles found new life with its mobile release. However, after recent issues regarding accessing paid content, it seems as if the end is near for iPhone and iPad players.
It's not exactly the greatest resolution, but the folks at Crystal Chronicles have outlined how players can claim refunds if they've been unable to access the content. And while this may be cold comfort to some it does mean that you won't be out of pocket even if you are missing out on Crystal Chronicles Remastered for the foreseeable future on iOS.
For a lot of us, I'm sure it's rather ironic that a release which originally slumped because of how innovative it was is now facing redundancy on a new platform. However, once more (with emphasis) it's worth noting the issues that Crystal Chronicles highlights regarding preservation on mobile.
