Final Fantasy Agito 'will definitely be localized', although it still might not make it overseas
Android version confirmed as well
New details have surfaced about the free-to-play Final Fantasy Agito, which we reported on earlier this month.
We were definitely intrigued by the announcement of this freemium Final Fantasy title set in the world realised by Final Fantasy Type-0, but we didn't know if it was going to hit US or UK App Stores any time soon.
We still don't, unfortunately, but USgamer reports that it "will definitely be localized".
Good news, bad newsThis goods news came from an interview with Final Fantasy Type-0's director Hajime Tabata, but it also omes with a substantial caveat - just because the game will be localised doesn't mean it'll be released overseas.
Square Enix representatives were quick to clarify this point so as not to get western hopes up too high. Still, a localisation will certainly be handy if Square Enix ever contemplates an overseas release of Final Fantasy Agito.
Trust us - our hopes for a western release are as high as yours are if you've read this far down, so we'll definitely keep you posted on any news that surface for Agito's overseas release.
Until then, enjoy the Tokyo Game Show trailer below.
