The App Stork: Introducing WarMen, iDrop Dead, Bunny Breeder...

In-between some gargantuan spamming issues and the odd technical blip, our forum community has been ticking over nicely lately, not least in the iPhone and iPod touch developer news section, which is currently alive with new additions.

We’ve featured the most eye-catching of the bunch below – so remember, when posting about your new wares in the forum do throw in as many links to pics, videos and iTunes as you have available to you, as this will only increase the chances of your game getting featured.

As for those of you not involved in the creation but in the playing of iPhone games, why not take a minute of your time to make someone’s day by telling them how great you thought their game was? Or offer some constructive feedback? We’re all in this together, on the good ship Pocket Gamer.

So, on with this week’s new arrivals…

WarMen 1.1 - frost3D
You know what you are getting with a title called WarMen – there’s just no way it’s going to be about virtual horses or mental dexterity.

What you might not expect, however, is for it to feature such polished looking 3D visuals, not to mention a cover and shooter mechanic that, based on the video below, looks rock solid.

The game is out now priced £1.19, which surely isn’t too much to ask for something that looks so polished, even if it only has five levels.

iDrop Dead - ttursas
If ever you wondered whether stuffed toys can bleed, here’s your answer. This deliciously perverse offering allows you to put some ragdoll toys through hell and back with the objective being to inflict as much damage, as quickly as possible. It’s got the looks and the premise, so for 59p you can’t really argue. Check out the video below to see it in action. Full game

Bunny Breeder - Airship Two
The great thing about the App Store is that you can go from fragging aliens and misstreating cuddly toys to breeding rabbits with a minimum of fuss.

Essentially cut from the Flight Control line-drawing cloth, Bunny Breeders sees you encouraging rabbits to procreate, while simultaneously using a cow to fend off the predatorial advances of a fox. Definitely a first on any platform and well worth checking out, especially seeing as it'll only set you back 59p.
