Fate War guide - 7 tips to make your Tribe thrive

Lost in the wilderness? Fret not - this Fate War guide will point you in the right direction to help you get stronger and make your Tribe thrive.
Dynamic day-night cycles, relentless Blackforged, and the unforgiving cold - Fate War, it seems, will stop at nothing to make life harder and harder for you as Chieftain of your Tribe. But if things feel a bit much, don't worry - our Fate War guide should help you pick up the pieces of a new civilisation, and survive in the aftermath of Ragnarok to boot.
We'll start off with some basic tips, which revolve around the things you should do in the early game. Then, we'll journey all the way to how you should manage your resources for the later stages, where PvP is a real option - and trust me, it WILL happen.
Since you want to have the best headstart, you also want to claim the latest Fate War codes for lots of Starglitter - this should help you summon more heroes, but if you're not quite sure which ones to aim for, that's where our Fate War tier list comes into play.
So buckle up, because we're about to dive into our guide!
Tip #1 - Complete all your quests

One of the most important things you should do if you want to save up resources and get access to newer areas is to complete your quests. On one hand, you have the daily quests, which are great for giving you daily resources and Starglitter (although not too many resources), and on the other, you have the main story quests.
The main story quests are what make you progress, so even if they ask you to do something a little bit more time-consuming (like training soldiers), you should do them. Focus on completing as many of these as you can from the very beginning.
Tip #2 - Join a Tribe as soon as you can

The Tribe is the equivalent of a Guild/Clan/Alliance, and it will play a HUGE role in your progress. The sooner you can join one, the better. It doesn't have to be a top-tier Tribe on your server, as long as it's an active one.
What I want to highlight here is that the more active players a Tribe has, the better it is for you. Tribe members can help each other complete constructions and upgrades a lot faster, so make sure you join one as soon as it becomes available.
If you're not happy with the Tribe you're in, just stay there until you get strong enough to qualify to join a better one, and then leave - preferably, have a chat with the leader of a higher-ranking Tribe to let them know you want to join, and to save you a spot.
Relocate closer to your Tribe
Another important little thing you should pay attention to: check where your base is located on the world map.As soon as you can, preferably before level 10, relocate your base using the free relocator in the vicinity of your Tribe. This will deter other players from attacking you and stealing your resources. Trust me - that's a big thing in strategy base-builders.
Help your fellow Tribe members!
As soon as you join a Tribe, you will see on the right side of the screen an icon with two shaking hands. That is your cue to tap it and help someone in your Tribe complete their construction/upgrade quicker. The help you can give and receive reduces the time by about 5 minutes, which is extremely important, because construction doesn't take too long early on, and it will help propel you forward. Make sure you request help and also offer it. It's a two-way street, after all.
Tip #3 - Upgrade everything!

The buildings you repair on your territory will have a green arrow next to them whenever they can be upgraded. You should pay attention to that and upgrade everything, starting with the houses.
Houses let you shelter more villagers, which results in more workforce. They don't take too long, so completing them first will allow you to have a few extra working hands to help you gather resources from around the map.
I recommend you start upgrading everything one by one, and have them at the highest level possible for your Chieftain Hall. Then, go ahead and upgrade your Chieftain Hall to the next level, and so on.
So, go like this:
- Max out buildings for the current level> Level up Chieftain Hall
Tip #4 - Don't forget to claim the resources from your Bag

In your Bag tab (bottom side of the screen), you can find all of the resources and chests you obtain. I suggest you open them whenever you run out of active resources (you can see them at the top of your screen), but when it comes to Food, Lumber, Stone, and Iron, try not to have more than necessary. These can be stolen from other players who could attack you, so after a certain point, bear that in mind.
As for the Gems and Coins, you can open those (especially the Gems). If you don't want to open them until later on, that's also fine - just don't forget about them and don't buy them (if you have them in your Bag).
Tip #5 - How to spend your Gems?

Your Gems are your premium currency, so it's really important not to waste them on just about everything. DO NOT spend them on speeding up your building upgrades, because you have the Tribe and dedicated Speed-ups to help with that.
Instead, you can spend them on a particular gacha that you want (when a top-tier hero has their rate-up), but only if you already have some Special Starglitter. Oh, and if you plan on using them in the gacha, don't use them in the Regular Search, since the chance of getting S-tier heroes is lower than in the Special Search.
Other than that, it's best you keep the Gems for the later stages. There might be some neat events that you really want to partake in, or you might want to purchase something that you actually need, so the best thing you can do is hoard them.
Tip #6 - Upgrade your heroes and recruit more soldiers

Upgrading the heroes you have is going to play a huge role in how far you can explore the surrounding areas. Some enemies are extremely strong, so upgrading your heroes' Talent and Skill will make them a lot stronger. These can be upgraded by levelling up the hero (for the Talent) or getting their dupes (for the Skill).
Pay close attention to how you allocate each hero's Talent, because resetting them will require Gems (hence the previous tip - it's better to hoard Gems, so you can reset in case you did something wrong).
Recruit soldiers!
Recruit more soldiers who get buffed by your best heroes, since that's who they'll take into battle.Tip #7 - More tips & tricks for Fate War!

And finally, let's wrap up this Fate War guide with a bunch more tips to help you increase your power:
- Claim all the daily rewards (in the Shop, around the map, from the Tribe, etc).
- Try to take part in as many events as you can. Every single reward you get counts.
- Pick up various resources and chests from around the map. You can see new ones every day.
- Increase your Happiness to bring in more people.
- Under your power rating, you can see a small greenish icon that shows you something like "31/43" - tap that, and there, you can manage the workers. Assign as many as you can.
- Research something at all times! This will give you a permanent power boost, and the sooner you research everything, the better.
- From the Chests, I strongly suggest you accept EXP Treatise only - that is EXP for your heroes, which you'll need A LOT of.
And that's it for our Fate War guide! Hopefully, you've picked up enough survival savvy to help you on your quest - your city isn't going to build itself, after all.
