Farm Punks, Noodlecake Studios latest game, launches later this month

Noodlecake Studios' latest game Farm Punks will be released on iOS and Android on 22nd August. We previewed it last week so feel free to check out our initial thoughts.

Farm Punks is a farming game with a twist. That twist being that's it not really a farming game at all. Sure, you grow fruit but you can also grow cows and ice cream. So right out of the gate, you know it's a little different.

Once your fruit has grown you'll then launch it out of a cannon to help it reach the market so you can sell it. The further your produce flies the more it'll be worth when it comes to cashing it in. It's essentially a downhill obstacle course where your fruit will lose health whilst touching the ground, so the aim is to stay airborne as much as possible.

If your health fully depletes before reaching the market then it will be spoiled and can only be recovered with gold. To make rolling to the shops easier you can upgrade your trees to yield better produce. You can also collect parts to build vehicles such as tricycles or lawnmowers that will help traverse the slopes and upgrade your cannon to give you a further initial boost.

Farm Punks will be controlled via simple touch controls, flicking left or right to change direction whilst an elongated press and then flicking up will make your produce jump. Accessing vehicles is simply rolling straight up to them where your apple, cow or ice cream will automatically hop in.

If the idea of growing a cow and then subsequently rolling it down a hill to earn money is up your alley then Farm Punks will be available on Google Play and the App Store on 22nd August. It will be free-to-play with various in-game purchases.
