F1 Mobile Racing is set to receive a 2020 Season update in May bringing the latest cars, drivers, circuits and more

Codemasters and Eden Games' popular F1 Mobile Racing game will soon receive its F1 2020 season update. It's set to arrive in the game in early May where players will get access to the latest cars, drivers, helmets and circuits.

Among those circuits will be the returning Circuit Zandvoort, which hasn't been featured in the F1 Grand Prix since 1985. In terms of other tracks, the Hanoi Circuit will also be making its way into the game but not until late May where it will be part of a street circuit in-game event.

There will be more events to look forward beyond the street circuit event too. 2020 marks the 70th anniversary of Formula One World Championship so there will be an in-game event to celebrate this milestone. Players will be able to race in a one-off Grand Prix event that will take place at five iconic tracks from the 1950 championship where they will compete to win 70th-anniversary in-game prizes.

Vincent Meulle, Executive Producer at Codemasters teased more events throughout the year, saying: “We know our players will be excited by the first major 2020 update of the year and there is still a lot more to come”

He added: “We are excited to launch Circuit Zandvoort, and later in the month Hanoi Circuit, but we don’t stop there and have big surprises and features coming later in the season.”

F1 Mobile Racing initially launched back in October 2018 and has since been downloaded an impressive 18 million times. Harry Slater reviewed the game for us back then, finding it to be a solid mobile F1 game if a little unpolished in a few areas.

F1 Mobile Racing is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
