Publisher 4399 has officially opened up its early-bird event for the upcoming grand strategy mobile game Era of Conquest. After opening pre-registration for the event earlier this month, the opportunity to get your hands on it early has finally arrived for Android. Game data from this event will be saved, so any progress you make during this early look can then be carried over to the full launch later this year.

If you haven’t heard about it, Era of Conquest is a cross-platform large-scale strategy game made for fans of 4x and RTS titles. You’ll be building up a powerful empire as a strong ruler as you follow the story of a group of fallen lords from a variety of civilizations hoping to rebuild themselves up to their former glory by being the best on the battlefield.

You’ll summon historical legends, gather up special corps, form partnerships, and more to strengthen your power and expand your borders as you slowly become the most powerful nation. Think something like the Civilization series or the popular Crusader Kings franchise for an easy parallel as to what to expect gameplay-wise.

Era of Conquest will feature a diverse cast of options to pick from on the nations front, featuring 8 different options, including Britain, Germany, France, Rome, Japan, China, Norse, and more. Much like the previously mentioned Civilization, each nation will come with its own abilities and units, so no two will play identically, allowing you to switch up your gameplay depending on which one catches your eye.

As for the Early Bird server opening up, it will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Philippines, Portugal, Brazil, Indonesia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Belgium, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Hongkong. So, nearly global, meaning just about anyone can give it a shot.
