Conduct a musical papercraft adventure full of bugs and beauty in Ephemerid
Flying onto iPads this autumn
Fancy conducting your own bug-filled rock opera?
Perhaps that sounds a little complicated. No worries - the team behind new musical iPad game Ephemerid has you covered.
SuperChop Games has built Ephemerid out of papercraft, which gives it a textured look. The game also has an entirely original soundtrack, to which the levels are all completely synced.
Rather than toil through laborious tutorials in Ephemerid, you can play around with natural scenes, using musical cues to guide your curiosity.
In one scene, you can 'ignite' a mayfly's flight through the woods by pulling on a twig. In others, you can rustle around in leaves, or roll a snowball around so it grows in size. Later on, you'll meddle with lights, fireworks, and even bubble travel.
After all that preliminary action, you'll soon encounter artsy, rock-fuelled, fast-paced aerial adventures. Here, a narrative about the mayfly's ultimate destiny is revealed.
Ephemerid will be available for iPad this autumn. While you're waiting for it to surface, check out the new trailer for it above.
