PID Games and Graffiti Games have officially announced the launch of Elderand, a new Metroidvania action platformer that's now on iOS and Android. The game features RPG elements presented with a retro pixel-art aesthetic, and if you purchase the game right now, you'll be able to take advantage of a 30% launch discount on both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.

In Elderand, you can look forward to diving into a Lovecraftian world where you'll have to face epic bosses to survive. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways for you to customise your combat experience, from tinkering around with your abilities to prepping up your look on top of your special stats.

The game also lets you wield a variety of weapons to boost your survivability, whether you're keen on slaying foes with your trusty sword or you're more of a whip-wielder with the ultimate killing flair. Of course, to the victor belong the spoils, so taking down beastly fiends (of over 60 different types) will reward you with awesome loot that, in turn, can help you craft better gear.

If you're eager to join in on all the fun and give the game a go yourself, you can do so by downloading Elderand on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a premium title that costs $6.99 a pop or your local equivalent, with a special $4.99 price at the moment. You can also join the community of followers on the official Twitter page to stay updated on all the latest developments, visit the official website for more info, or take a little sneak peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the game's vibes.
