Serial award winner Edge coming to iPhone

Serial award winner Edge coming to iPhone
| Edge

Edge is a superb mobile game involving navigating a cube around devilishly cunning isometric mazes while avoiding traps and solving puzzles. One of those superbly simple, yet infinitely intricate puzzlers, it’s gone through pretty much every handheld gaming award mangle and come out shining – and now it’s on its way to the iPhone.

Although it’s been around for a while now, Edge was clearly made for the iPhone and puts the accelerometer to super use. It’s already won the Milthon award for Best Mobile Game of 2008 at the Festival du Jeu Video, been nominated for a BAFTA and comes to the App Store with the weight of an Independent Games Festival Mobile nomination for Excellence in Gameplay.

Check out the gameplay video below and you’ll see what all the fuss is about. We’ll wait for you on the edge of our seat as Edge is passing through Apple’s approval process right now and should be with us next week. Cube-tastic!

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
