In order to have the best start possible, you're going to need a few Edens Zero Pocket Galaxy tips and tricks to help you get on the right path. This article is all about giving you some essential tips and strategies and having a good understanding of the game.

We're going to start by mentioning some of the things you should definitely do, as well as some things that it might be best to avoid. Since Edens Zero is such a complex game, you can probably imagine that some of the quests are more difficult than others, or require a specific approach.

As for the characters, don't worry - we've also got a character guide to help you understand the role of each one of the heroes you'll meet in the game, even if they don't necessarily seem all that mighty (see: Happy)!

Is Edens Zero Pocket Galaxy the same as Fairy Tail?

Oh, this is a question I've wondered myself after seeing that little rascal Happy and noticed the signature duo's (Shiki and Rebecca) similarities to Natsu and Lucy from FT. However, that is most certainly is not the case. Edens Zero is actually another manga illustrated by Hiro Mashima, the same person that created Fairy Tail. So it is likely the two will have some similarities.

Edens Zero Pocket Galaxy is fully 3D animated and has so many unique elements, that if you've already read the manga, you're in for a treat while playing this game.

But enough chit-chat - you're here for some beginner's tips for the game, so let's dive right in, shall we?

Tip #1 - Avoid the red carpets

First and foremost, we need to start by mentioning this one very important detail - you need to always dodge the "red carpets", or the areas marked with red on the ground. That's where the enemies will land their most powerful spells and attacks (not normal attacks), which means in some of the end-game battles you might end up dying if you sit there.

You can often spot the red carpets sort of "charging", or growing another red layer on top. That symbolizes the way a skill is loading. When said skill reaches the end of the red area, it'll cast. You should always move out of these areas before the skill casts.

The best way to do that would be to dash there, but if you can't, then simply start running towards the edge closest to you. Try to form a habit of avoiding these areas, and you'll have a much easier time in the long run.

Tip #2 - Destroy chests for extra loot

Sometimes you'll notice various boxes scattered all over the place. Attack them and you'll have a chance to find some additional loot inside. It's nothing too crazy, but you never know when you might need some extra currency, so it's good to loot everything the first time.

You'll also have some first clearance rewards, so it's nice to collect everything in one go.

Tip #3 - Form a party with characters that you like and have good synergy

In a party, you'll be able to have 3 characters total. The characters are not all available from the start, and you'll need to progress quite a bit in order to unlock them all. In the beginning, you'll have Shiki Granbell, but after a while, you'll unlock several more, so it's best to take it slow, enjoy the story and the game, and not worry about what "the best teams" are.

If you're curious about that, I'll shed some light - there's no such thing as a "best team" in Edens Zero Pocket Galaxy. Every character has strengths and weaknesses, and it all depends on the monster that you're up against.

Tip #4 - Always check your characters' equipment

Perform dazzling moves

Characters have specific equipment pieces tailored for them individually (except the Memory), so you want to make sure that every time you pick something new, you'll give it to that character. Like I mentioned before, you won't have all the heroes from the start - so, what you need to do is to make sure the heroes that you have are fully equipped with the best gear.

How to get more equipment?

If you want to get more gear for your heroes, there is an option in the shop. I'd strongly suggest you keep your currency for a while though because at the start you will get most of the items you need by simply completing quests and story mode. After you know exactly which equipment you want (and for which character), you can go to the Store -> Item Store and check in the tabs there what items are available.

Tip #5 - More Edens Zero Pocket Galaxy tips

Here are a few more tips to help you better understand the game:

  • Look at your missions and try to complete all of your Daily missions every day. You'll earn 5 Free EG for completing all of the daily missions
  • Similarly with the daily missions, you have weekly missions. Make sure to complete all of them within the week for 30 Free EG
  • If you're not sure about a location, just tap on the minimap to expand it. That should give you a clear idea of where the quest destination is
  • When fighting multiple enemies, try to lure them all in one place and then start casting your skills. It's way more efficient to hit several enemies at once than take them one by one as they come. You'll also score higher KO points.
