eBaseball: MLB Pro Spirit gets free update this month to coincide with the 2025 season

Now that the year is well underway there are a great many sporting tournaments either underway or well on their way. And for American fans of major league baseball, the upcoming 2025 season will be a welcome respite after the cold of winter. So to celebrate Konami's top sporting sim in that category, eBaseball: MLB Pro Spirit, is debuting a new free update on March 25th.

Aside from introducing a new key visual of series mascot Shohei Ohtani, there's also the debut of two new Partner Athletes in the form of Baltimore Orioles' Adley Rutschman and San Diego Padres' Jackson Merrill, both of whom will be bringing their top-tier skills to the virtual diamond.

Not only that but we've also got three new in-game events to look forward to. Starting with the Japan Legends event that will feature Japanese MLB legends Ichiro Suzuki, Hideki Matsui and others, who'll be available for a limited time. Meanwhil,e the Spring Fever 10-players Free event lets you nab a player from your favourite team via the one-time special free 10-pull Scout, with one Grade IV player guaranteed.

Beyond the diamond

That's still not all, either! Keep an eye out for the Tokyo Series Present where you can nab a Grade III Cover Athlete: Shohei Ohtani (DH) for your troubles. Yes, Konami are pitching for a win as both this and eFootball seem to be going from strength to strength with top-tier partnerships and more.
