Free-to-play slash-'em-up Dungeon Hunter 3 makes a move on Android

The third instalment in Gameloft's monster-filled Dungeon Hunter franchise is now available to download from Google Play for free.

Dungeon Hunter 3 ditches the dungeon-crawling gameplay found in the franchise's first two titles. Instead, this free-to-play adventure sees you face off against enemies across 16 arenas in wave-based combat.

There are four different characters to take into battle: Warlord, Astromancer, Trickster, and Shaman - all of which can be customised with new skills, items, and weapons.

You can download Dungeon Hunter 3 [download] from Google Play for free, but there are plenty of opportunities to spend your real-world cash on in-game items if your moolah is burning a hole in your wallet.
