Door Kickers is now available for iPhone after releasing on iPad and Android back in 2015

Door Kickers originally launched for iPad back in 2015 with an Android version following in September that year. Now, almost five years later the game has been updated so that it can be played on iPhone too.

Given that this is an update, if you've bought the game previously for iPad then you should be able to download Door Kickers to your iPhone without having to pay for the game again, providing you're still using the same account of course. In terms of compatibility, you will need to have iOS 10.0 or later to play it.

If you're unfamiliar with Door Kickers, it's a top-down real-time strategy game where you'll command a SWAT team as they breach and clear their way through a series of missions. You'll have to plan their routes through each stage alongside choosing the best gear to deal with the situation.

Killhouse Games appear to be making an active effort this year to bring their entire library to mobile having released Door Kickers: Action Squad for iOS and Android at the start of April. It's reportedly a good port of the game too, with the majority of our community – the App Army – really enjoying their time with it.

The update was announced in a tweet by Killhouse Games where they also mentioned they were aware they had other 'loose ends to tie' and that they're working on them. The announcement also included a picture of the two Killhouse games that are currently available on mobile.

Therefore, this could be a sign that a mobile port of Door Kickers 2 is in the works, something the developers have said they would like to do previously. However, Door Kickers 2 is currently in Early Access on Steam, so it's possible they're talking about something else entirely.

Door Kickers is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium title that costs $4.99.
