Doctor Who: Lost in Time, the mobile game based on the hit BBC sci-fi series, is set to team up with Star Trek spin-off Lower Decks. Bringing iconic characters from both series together in a crossover, the titles will let you explore different locations, meet different characters and more in Doctor Who: Lost in Time and Star Trek: Lower Decks - The Badgey Directive starting August 1st.
Set aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos, Star Trek: Lower Decks rather fittingly focuses on the various other minor crew members of Star Trek's federation and their day-to-day lives. Meanwhile, Doctor Who needs little introduction as the classic BBC sci-fi series follows the titular time-travelling Doctor and his companions as they journey across time and space.
Marking International Friendship Day, it's rather fitting that Doctor Who is for the first time going to cross over with Star Trek on this date.
While you'd be forgiven for thinking the evangelical terminology used for the announcement is a bit much, it certainly is an impressive crossover. After all, Trekkies and Whovians (is that the word?) have been crowing for a meeting of these two sci-fi juggernauts for decades, so it's a little point of pride for us to point out that it's happening first on mobile.
