Mickey and friends take on Animal Crossing with Disney Magical World for 3DS

3DS–owning fans of simulation games and magic kingdoms are about to have a very busy spring ahead of them.

The just-announced Disney Magical World follows in the tradition of the Gold Award-winning Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and allows players to customise their character with (Disney) themed outfits, manage a café, and - oddly - plant crops in a bid to collect Disney character characters.

The main Disney moneymakers won't stay off-screen for long, however. Many popular characters will approach the player and ask for help solving problems for finding items.

Tiny Cartridge reports that Disney Magical World was released in Japan as Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life and Nintendo even released a limited-edition 3DS LL to celebrate the game over the summer.

We highly doubt that the eye-catching white 3DS will make its way to the states alongside the launch of Disney Magical World, but - hey - we've been wrong before.

Siliconera found a Japanese trailer for Disney Magical World which we've posted below, and it gives a good idea of what you can expect from the game even if you can't understand it.

We haven't heard if Nintendo of Europe plans to publish this title on the other side of the Atlantic just yet, but we'll keep you updated when we know more.
