Dinkigolf is another game that you can add to the ever-growing list of golf games on mobile. It's a game that is much quirkier from other games and fits its name nicely. It's a simple golf game from a gameplay standpoint, but the art and hole designs are distinctive.

As with most golf games, the goal is to get the ball into the hole in as few shots as possible. You play holes individually and try to earn stars on each one that you play. The holes all have their own unique hazards for you to avoid as you play.

Also, each collection of holes take place in different, vibrant locations. Getting stars will let you unlock some new areas for you to enjoy. You can, of course, replay levels if you feel like you didn't earn enough stars. But here are a few tips to help kick you off in the unique but simple world of Dinkigolf.

Survey The Hole as Best You Can

In real golf, players will study each hole on the course. Usually, they'll look at a yardage book giving them an idea of where to aim their shots. In Dinkigolf, you can kind of take that same approach on each level. Look at what lies ahead on the hole you're playing.

From there, you should be able to give yourself a proper idea of how hard you should launch your ball. If you see some hazards nearby, then definitely try your best to avoid them. Some hazards, you can actually hit out of on some of the holes. It's also one of the rare golf games where you can hit your ball out of a water hazard.

However, it makes it much more difficult to hit a smooth shot when you get caught in the hazards. And some of these traps won't always be as nice, as they can also gobble up your ball, starting you over from where you last left off, pretty much like in real golf. So, in short, beware of your surroundings and launch your shots accordingly.

Feel Free to Use the Enviornment to Your Advantage

This is mostly for your approach shots which can vary completely depending on what hole you're playing on. But some holes will have the flagstick sitting in front of a wall. If this is the case for one of the levels you're playing on, then you have the opportunity to do a little trick shot action.

Aim your shot behind the flag, and try to knock it off the wall. If your timing and power are on point, then you may see the ball roll into the hole, hopefully scoring you two or three stars. As we kind of eluded to, this won't work on every hole due to different designs.

But that's what makes certain golf games fun is when there's unpredictability in the layout. However, if the opportunity arises, and if you feel like it gives you a better shot at scoring, then ricochet the ball of the wall and watch the ball (hopefully) roll into the cup.

Collect as Many Stars as Possible

We touched on this just a tad earlier. In Dinkigolf, you'll earn stars with your play on the course. These are needed in order to unlock areas in the game. On each hole you play, you can earn bronze, silver, and gold stars. If you play superbly, you'll get all three.

Stars can also be used to collect different types of golf balls. Some are for flair and give you a cool new look to enjoy. There are other balls that will give you special abilities out on the course. These tend to cost silver or gold stars while the style-based ones usually take a chunk of bronze stars.

The nice thing is that you can freely replay each hole as much as you like. So if you fell short of silver or gold stars, then you'll have a shot at redemption. You should be able to get some solid star scoring on the first few holes to give you a head start. Good luck and happy collecting.
